I gather it will be a cremation but know no further details at present.

Tony at 90 (19-3-21)
Tony meeks has joined the Friday Gang Nonentities! ...Congratulations to Tony.

Sadly due to Covid restrictions it was not possible to arrange a function at the club - BUT I have organised a Tankard & card for him, which I will take round to his home. Sadly only the base has arrived so far but I will deliver it all as soon as possible.
I put these from us all - so if you care to make a donation towards these,
you can do so when we meet up.

Brian 90 (18-9-20)
We had a well supported gathering at the club (within Covid- restrictions) to mark Brian's 90th.

A special Tee was set up for him on the 18th and we presented him with an engraved glass tankard to makr the occasion.

AWAY DAY AT HOLYHEAD 17 June 19
The weather was great and the course in very good condition yjough the wind was a challenge.

Our welcome and the food were as always most hospitable and of a high standard.

A great day was enjoyed by all with some very decent golf being played

Rick had the best individual score with 36pts, and took the Mike Binns Trophy. Mike Smith and Glyn Roberts were equal on 30 pts.
The Team prize went to Rick, Phil & Laurie with 72 from Glyn, Martin & Robin with 68.

HOLES IN ONE
Congratulations to Terry Lynch, who had his first
hole-in-one at the 4th at Upton.
He now holds the Bryan Downing trophy taking over from Colin Hedley, who had his first Ace at Carlisle 13th on the Winsat Easter Tour.

Geoff & Ron had the best score with 41 points and the team prize went, by one point to Geoff, Ron, Terry and Laurie with 78.

AWAY DAY AT LEE PARK .........31st Oct 16
The weather was great and the course new to most of us.

Our welcome and the food were very enjoyable and the course was good, but the greens were a bit slow and bobbly after work on them.

The day was enjoyed by all and the scores very close with only 2 points between all the teams

Brian N, Alan and Robin won by less than a shot from Ron, Dennis, Colin and Peter.

Brian N also got a Golden Ferret on the 8th, with Robin getting a more coventional 2 on the 13th.

Thanks to all who took part, in particular our guests, who added greatly to the day.
